We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Since good service has declined so much, I am happy to report that this was a fantastic experience. The room was updated, the beds were comfortable. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was tasty. There were a number of options. The pool area was nice. It has a shower, restroom and plenty of towels. The water was not too cold. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The hotel was only a few miles from our venue. Overall, I don't think we had any complaints. The manager even came into the parking lot to give my daughter her phone that she left behind. It's a breath of fresh air to be able to give a positive review. The service industry has declined substantially since covid. Out of the 4 hotels I've stayed in, in the past few weeks, this has been the best. Thank you all for a wonderful experience. I truly appreciate it. We had the best time ever in VanWert.Keep up the exceptional hospitality.
So cozy. The room is amazing. Bed are comfy. The pool is big and the environment is spacious, inviting, and fun.
I've stayed in a few holiday inns and van wert has the best of the best. Staff was very kind and helpful in keeping up to date with my stay. If you ever pass this hotel my advice is to stay here.. They have the best bacon/food for their breakfast. Their coffee is amazing too. All i can say is THEY'RE AWESOME
Clean and comfortable rooms. Big TV. Showers have good pressure and big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Breakfast was always hot and pretty good. Hard to beat a hotel that has a field of corn behind it. If you love wind turbines, drive 10 minutes north into Paulding county. It's a beautiful sight, especially at night.
Very clean room. We had a COMFORTABLE king-size bed with nice, crisp white bedding. Complimentary breakfast was great! Biscuits & gravy, sausage, pancakes, HOT cinnamon rolls along with the usual juices, cereals, yogurt, etc. Parking lot was well lit. We were very pleased.
I stayed there 3-4 nights a week for work for a four month period and my experiences were great. The front desk lady name Ashley was really helpful every time I would check in. She gave me great recommendations for food and activities around town. The breakfast could be a little better, but it was definitely better than some other places I have lodged at.
The place was clean and very accommodating. The only thing that wasn't the best was the food, but everything else was excellent
Absolutely wonderful experience, no complaints. Best hotel stay I've had in a long time. Everything was very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly, especially the woman working the breakfast area in the morning. We stayed in the extra large queen room which was perfect for our family and children with the kitchenette, table, and full size fridge. If I was ever in the area again I would want to come back!
